Since its inception, the Omani Society in Queensland has devoted itself to the benefit of Omani people in Queensland. Its broad mission encompasses a number of complementary views and encourages the unity and integrity between its memebers.
It is now appropriate for the OSQ to define itself more explicitly, based on what has been done and what it is willing to do.
The OSQ seeks to build community and inspire the growth of the Omani attitude in Queensland by being a catalyst in their life through a support system of guidance, compassion, service and leadership. It is also aimed to serve Omani citizens in Queensland during the process of acquiring knowledge.
The society is committed to promote Omani culture and heritage, thus adding to the society religion and cultural fulfillment, as well as increasing the general public awareness about the Sultanate of Oman. |
